WANT YOUR WEBSITE TO BE A PROFITABLE WEBSITE?

Any website can be a profitable website, whether you are promoting an MLM business opportunity, a "bricks and mortar" business, blog, or just your favorite hobby.s Websites can be profitable directly, when being used to sell an item or items, or indirectly as a promotional, communicating or educating tool. Creating profitable websites starts with a little planning;

CREATING PROFITABLE WEBSITES

You don't need to spend a large amount of money to build a profitable website. If you know a little html, you may just need to pay out a few dollars for your domain name and hosting. You certainly DO NOT need to pay for fancy designs, graphics, audio and videos, in fact many profitable websites are simple text-based webpages or blogs.

Before you start building your site, grab a pen and paper and just start brainstorming. Scribble away with ideas for what you want your site to do, what you want in the site. Do you want one long scrolling page or one page per subject/item, etc? Spend some time on this and don't be afraid to write down some nonsensical things - no-one else needs to see it!

Spend some time online researching the competition. What do you like about their sites? Draw ideas and inspiration from them but don't copy - you want your site to stand out from the rest after all.

What you do need to spend time on, is the content (copy) used to fill your website with relevant and valuable information. The quality of your content will help to attract the attention of the search engines, which will in turn help to create traffic to your website. The quality of your content will also determine whether visitors will value your site and recommend it to others. You may find it easier to write your content in a text file like MS Word or Notepad first. You can then edit it, spellcheck and copy it into your site later.
